On the optimal local regularity for the Yang-Mills equations in

The aim of the paper is to develop the Fourier Analysis techniques needed in the study of optimal well-posedness and global regularity properties of the Yang-Mills equations in Minkowski space-time , for the case of the critical dimension . We introduce new functional spaces and prove new bilinear estimates for solutions of the homogeneous wave equation, which can be viewed as generalizations of the well-known Strichartz-Pecher inequalities.

In this paper we provide and analyze a nonlinear degenerate parabolic equation in one space dimension with the following smoothing property: If the initial data is only uniformly continuous, at positive times, the solution has bounded second derivatives (it belongs to ). We call this surprising phenomenon a regularizing effect. So far, such phenomena have only been observed in uniformly parabolic equations.

     

Regularity of Pressure in the Neighbourhood of Regular Points of Weak Solutions of the Navier-Stokes Equations

In the context of the weak solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations we study the regularity of the pressure and its derivatives in the space-time neighbourhood of regular points. We present some global and local conditions under which the regularity is further improved.

We present a simplified proof of a theorem proved recently concerning the number of singular points of weak solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations.
